#36 Maverix Snow Camp 2008

#35 Les Deux Alpes Sweet Spots

Another great mix for you in this podcast. First off we bring you some of the riding highlights from the first year of the Maverix Snow Camp. We had a great crew who came out to shred the sick park in Les Deux Alpes this summer and take time to taste the flavour of the other slope offerings, including the infamous slush pools. The camp was a great success and we look forward to running it again next year. For more juice and other videos from the camp check the links below

We also have our video review from the FBBB comp at Tamworth. It was back in June when we made our visit to Tamworth, but due to the Snow Camp it is only now that we can bring you some of the sweet highlights from a great comp. The setup was sick, and I was gutted to be filming and not riding.

The finish up we take you over to the east coast of the US with a teaser for a new movie that will be released this Fall. I Heart Snow Productions will be releasing their 'Back East' movie. This just shows how sick the riding is and how great the conditions and the parks are (contrary to popular belief).

Wassup peeps. The podcast is hotter that Arizona road kill. We have gone all widescreen HD with new colours and all that other cool shit that you guys love. Well here goes...

In this episode we have Marcus from Double Films giving us a taste of the winter in Les Deux Alpes, with his sweet backcountry booter setup.

We have some new found riding homies who will be producing a UK movie 'First Impressions' this summer for release in October.

Those in the know, know Walshy. A sick rider from Milton who has been busting out crazy moves since the dawn of time. Well it looks like that love of snowboarding is passing to a new generation. His little girl is now 5 and has just started riding. We get to see the first glimpse of her progress. I think we may have a star in the making.

That brings us nicely to Sideshow. What a man. We all dream of our own backyard setup. Well he has it. But I think he needs to spend a little bit more time preparing it. The fact he manages to keep the cigarette makes it like a hundred times better.

#34 ATV Spring Session

In this episode we take you all over the world. We start in Loon Mountain, NH in the USA with some backyard fun. You would be amazed at what you can create and throw down in your back garden.

Then we bring you home with a bang as we show you some highlights from the ATV Spring Session at Milton Keynes SnoZone. Kids from Europe and all over the UK showing off their skills. Photos from Fear of the Park

For the more cultured snowboarder we take you to France as we explore what its means to be a snowboarder courtesy of our friends at www.doublefilms.com. We then finish in France again with the teaser for the soon to be starting Maverix Snow Camp. Spaces are filling fast with a great mix of people due to be making the most out of the board test and freestyle/freeride coaching on offer during late June and early July in Les Deux Alpes.

We had a couple of days on filming some of the local groms at Loon Mountain, NH. Kyle Mack (10yrs) and his brother Darren (6 yrs) came up to help push the progression of our local rippers, Jacob Aaronsen (12 yrs), Jack Herald (11 yrs) and Shana Aaronsen (10 yrs). These guys know how to ride with 7's being the flavour of the sessions. Already these kids have picked up sponsors like Burton, Anon, Oackley and Rome Snowboards. The future looks bright for these groms.
